Boyd and Cutler to Co-Host Senior Expo
Reps. Scott Boyd (R-West Lampeter) and Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom) invite all seniors from the 43rd and 100th legislative districts to their upcoming senior expo. The event will be held from 8 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Willow Valley Resort’s Palm Court.

This year’s event will be the third such expo co-hosted by the two legislators. Along with serving as a popular social outing for seniors, the expo features several dozen vendors and representatives from local, state and federal agencies offering information on programs and current issues.

The lawmakers noted that the primary theme of this year’s expo is conserving energy and lowering utility bills. The main speaker will be Mary Golab from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.  She will provide information on how to increase home energy efficiency and discuss state grant opportunities that can help to reduce home energy bills.

Admission is free and there is no need to RSVP. Participants will enjoy free refreshments and compete for door prizes.
For more information on the event, call Boyd’s district office in West Lampeter at 717-464-5285 or Cutler’s office in Quarryville at 717-786-4551.
