HARRISBURG – Pennsylvanians who buy health insurance on a new state-based exchange are seeing lower costs thanks to legislation introduced in the House and sponsored by Speaker Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster). That is according to the Pennsylvanian Department of Insurance, which approved lower rates for 2021 and attributed the savings to House Bill 3, now known as Act 42 of 2019.

A member of the House received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis earlier this morning. The member was last present in the Capitol on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020.

WHAT: The House will convene for session at Grace United Methodist Church as part of 200th anniversary celebrations for the church. In 1897, the House held session in the same church after a fire burned the previous Capitol building.
