Cutler Announces Major Funding Secured for 100th District

December 18, 2025

HARRISBURG – Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom) today announced that projects across the 100th District have been awarded funding through the Pennsylvania Local Share Account (LSA) program.

The projects in question receiving LSA funding are as follows:

- Bart Township will receive $500,000 for the replacement of Quarry Road Bridge located in the township. This project will involve the demolition and reconstruction of the existing, deteriorated vehicular bridge along Quarry Road. These improvements will remove the current 12-ton weight restriction, which limits local businesses to efficiently transport products with larger equipment.
- Eden Township will receive $1 million to make upgrades to and expand the municipal building in Eden Township.
- Martic Township will receive $297,897 to repair and resurface Nissley Lane, as well as repair and resurface a section of Tucquan Road.
- Martic Township will also receive $80,237 to purchase a new truck to be used by the township for both daily and emergency work. The current truck has over 140,000 miles on it and is beginning to experience mechanical issues at an increasing cost.
- Strasburg Township will receive $166,000 to replace its current tractor with a new tractor, which will include mowing attachments, to assist with public park and municipal property maintenance.

“This is incredible news for the 100th District,” said Cutler. “Over $2 million is now coming into our community to fund these projects. I want to thank our state senator, Scott Martin, for his help and support of these grants as well.”

The PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act (Act 2004-71) provides for the distribution of gaming revenues through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to support projects in the public interest within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for these grants through the LSA program.
