Cutler and Boyd to Offer Information About Local Senior Services at 2012 Senior Expo
QUARRYVILLE – Reps. Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom) and Scott Boyd (R-Lampeter) will co-host a free Senior Expo on Friday, Aug. 17, from 8 a.m. to noon to draw together information about services and support available to senior citizens in the 100th and 43rd districts.

“We are looking forward to another informative and fun event for area senior citizens,” said Boyd. “Over the years, the response to the Senior Expo has been overwhelming, and participants can expect the same great event this year.”

The expo, which will feature more than 40 participating vendors from area nonprofit organizations, government agencies and senior service providers, will take place at Solanco High School, located at 585 Solanco Road in Quarryville. Light refreshments will be available.

“This event is open to all area senior citizens, as well as anyone who is caring for an aging parent or older Pennsylvanian,” said Cutler. “The expo is a great way for individuals to collect information about long-term care, state programs for senior citizens and other subjects pertinent to aging.”

Advanced registration is not required. Anyone with questions regarding the event may contact Cutler’s office at (717) 786-4551 or Boyd’s office at (717) 464-5285.
