Cutler to Host Second Annual Energy Expo

Event will provide information about cutting energy costs

Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom) announced today that he and his staff will host their second annual Energy Expo from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, at the Information Center at the Muddy Run Recreational Park, located at 172 Bethesda Church Road West in Holtwood.

“Rate caps on electric generation that have been in place for more than 10 years expired in December, leaving residents looking for ways to reduce their home energy costs,” said Cutler.  “We are hosting this expo so people can get information on cutting their electric and home heating bills.  In this difficult economy, people are looking for ways to save money, and trimming energy use is a good place to start.”

The expo will feature exhibitors from state and local agencies, area businesses and electric suppliers.  Participants can learn about energy saving loan and rebate programs, alternative energy solutions and making the switch to a new electric generation company.
